During the chilli fiesta, we will be hosting a special photography competition. The theme is chillies! Enter your pictures now.
We will be offering prizes for the winner and the judges will be the general public who attend the event.
You do not have to attend the event to enter, although we'd love it if you did!
A shortlist of 20 pictures will be selected by a panel of judges from the entries and then these photos will be blown up to prints measuring 18 inches by 12 inches. We will be working in conjunction with a local digital media specialist to help with this.
These prints will then be mounted and displayed in a special gallery at RHS Garden Rosemoor. Visitors to the chilli fiesta will then be able to vote for their favourites. At the end of the festival, the pictures with the highest amount of votes will be declared the winners!
The winner will get an engraved cup and a hamper of chilli goodies.
The theme is "chillies". So your photos can be on any subject whether it be your favourite plant, fresh pods or even a chilli flower growing on a stem. The choice is yours!
The only stipulation is that high resolution images must be supplied, to allow us to create quality 18x12 inch prints. The higher the quality, the better the print will look :)
Closing date for entries is Sunday 13th April
From the entries received, 20 will be shortlisted by our photography expert and a dedicated team of chilli enthusiasts. We have set the closing date of Mid April, to allow the printers enough time to prepare all the images and to choose the final 20.
After the fiesta, the images will not be used for any other purpose.
